The chevrolet dealership here has sold me a battery to fix it , told me it was some sort of modular on the engine, and the throttle body spacer . They have gotten over $1500 from me and have not fixed the problem.I own a 2003 Impala LS with the 3. There was a recall in 2004 for the fasteners on the intake manifold.The fasteners were of poor quality and were causing gasket failures in the GM 3.8 litre engines which were put in the Impala.
