Kannel:
RS Gold

The Zombiefication. My idea regarding zombies is RS gold their appeal. We can identify with them. They don't have a voice. They live for food. They end up dying. The 99% are zombies. Let's finish Lord of the Rings, before moving onto Runescape. We disappear into books as we do into a good game. Lord of the Rings is a story about free will. The Ring is designed to rule them all. In the darkness, it binds the characters. Each of the heroes has their own opinions. The heroes cast their votes against the Ring. We then arrive at Runescape.

Runescape is a world of magic in which all are equal. All can have their say on the game's development. In Runescape we have the option of choosing. To chat, to kill to kill, to master, or to chat. We are able to decide. Or do we? Lord of the Rings has been around for sixty years and has outlived its creator. It seems to be alive and well. What about Runescape. Are we able to run and escape from the zombies? You have the option.

Hello, I just played Runescape when I was browsing these forums and RSOF. Two factors led me to quit Runescape around one year and a quarter back: Lack of interest in the MMOs (Dragon Nest, etc.) and being distracted with studies (still am) or feeling jaded with RS overall. Although I can see that this may be the current mood among most players, I digress.

I returned to Runescape and, upon having logged in, I browsed through the site and purchased a Guthix and Zam set along with my Sara set, using the money I made through Treasure Trails. You can see the changes to this area, single new quests for F2P and Squeal O Fortune (which generated quite an uproar when it was first released and was a huge hit when it first came out) and titles. Personally, I believe that the SoF is rather boring. The valuable stuff is for mems only and it's not like they'd add an ancient statuete worth 5 million in the rewards.

What are we able to do now? While I was actively playing, I enjoyed the traditional clan wars in Wildy between the two clans. However, most clans nowadays require active commitment or some other activity.

I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to commit to being an active member of a clan on RS. However, Guild Wars 2 and other better options may become my main game. I'd love to join one side of an clan for a couple of games and then leave, but I'm not sure if that's feasible.

This thread was created to solicit ideas one person could use to have fun without being in a clan. While it may sound absurd it is true that the MMO-tag implies that buy OSRS gold you must have others to have fun. But I don't believe that's the case. I do remember walking around as a newbie and marveling at the vastness of what RS was however the magic is lost.
