This year’s FC 24 will be the last game that sees EA and FC act as partners on FC 24 Coins the football series, as 2023’s game will be called EA Sports FC. EA has made it clear that apart from the ending of the FC partnership, it will maintain its relationships with over 300 license partners.

FC 24 is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC on September 30.

In other news, upcoming League Of Legends 2D fighting game Project L will be free-to-play and include “respectful” monetisation.

Another year is upon us, and with the changing of the seasons comes a new FC. It has always been this way, and it always will be. FC 24 will launch later this year, and despite being yet another entry in the long-running footy franchise, this one is a little bit different than what come before. For one, it technically the last FC game as we know it. EA and FC partnership ends with this one, and what comes next is still very much up in the air.
