New Orleans has lost their head to head match against the Packers in the first week of the season . They can't argue that they're more superior but they might get a shot to see the Packers again which, if it happens, would be at Green Bay in a couple weeks. It will be the final decision, once and for all what the NFC is a part of the Saints or Packers.
The Ravens are the No. 2 seed in the AFC and I have them ranked about the Patriots who are the No. 1 seed. I believe that Baltimore is more of a complete team built for January football better then New England can be. We've seen more from Ravens this year They've beat six playoff teams this year and hail from what is arguably the top division in football in comparison to the Patriots who couldn't take down the team with a winning record. The last time we played, they were 9-7. Ravens team beat the Patriots when they played in the Wild Card game. If they play again I'm convinced that Baltimore has the edge.
The Patriots aren't winning a playoff game for nearly four years which, for New England, seems like a lifetime. The Patriots are definitely an elite teamthirteen wins, one of the top quarterbacks of all time and the third. 3 ranked offense. They're doing a lot of things right . There aren't many teams (lookin' at you Denver) that can keep up with them on offense.
That said, the defense is an issue. It's not all doom-and-gloom as you might think with the things they're saying in New England about the number of yards the Patriots defense concedes -The defense is ranked 15th in scoring in the league, which is the most important statistic, but they'll need to prove that their defense can step up when the offense gets into these defenses, like those of the Broncos Madden 23 Coins Cheap, Ravens or Texans.
