Defender (green ring): The defender stops the other group's attackers from getting to and murdering their heart stone. This may be accomplished by freezing the attackers until they reach the stone, setting traps and barricades to slow them down, or by just killing them. Floor spikes- 45 hunter and 30 structure, requires 15 iron nails, 1 plank as well as a hammer (not absorbed ).

Dart traps: 73 hunter and 78 construction, necessitates 15 iron nails, 5 boards, 50 feathers, 5 bowstrings, and 5 iron darts per injection (may lode around 50, can be reloaded just when empty).
